Getting ready
Check if there are any specific instructions to follow. Some tests may require fasting, avoiding certain foods, or getting tested at a certain time of day. Review test details for more information.
Stay hydrated unless instructed otherwise and avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine intake 24 hours before testing for most accurate results.
How long does the test take
Wait times can vary, but most sample collections take only 10-15 minutes. However, some tests may require additional steps
- Blood tests: Quick and simple, sample collection usually completed in under 10 minutes.
- Saliva or urine tests: Depending on the test, instructions will be provided at the collection centre.
- Specialised tests: Some tests may require multiple samples or longer processing times.
What to bring to your appointment
The only thing you will need to bring is your order confirmation email with QR code to the Collection Centre (either printed or digital).

Getting your results
Your test results will be securely available online through your BODYiQ account. You will receive an email notification once they are ready to view.
Most tests are available within a few days, depending on the test.
Reminder: If you've ordered multiple tests or a bundle, you'll be notified as each result becomes available - they may arrive at different times.
Expert Support with Results Protection
Add Results Protection at checkout to access expert clinical guidance if any of your results are outside the optimal range. This add-on connects you with a New Zealand-registered GP from our partner, The Doctors Online.
If you’ve purchased Results Protection, The Doctors Online will contact you within two working days to arrange a secure virtual GP consultation to explain your results, answer questions, and recommend next steps.
