Bowel Cancer Screening FIT kit
The BODYiQ Bowel Cancer Screening FIT Test (Faecal Immunochemical Test, or FIT) is a home screening kit that checks for hidden blood in your stool. It includes everything you need to collect a small stool sample at home, which is analysed by Awanui's IANZ-accredited laboratory network.

- This is a screening test and is not intended to diagnose bowel cancer.
- Your sample is analysed by Awanui's IANZ-accredited laboratory network.
- This test is intended for people without bowel symptoms. If you have bowel symptoms, please see your GP promptly rather than relying on a screening test.
- We are unable to ship test kits to rural/non-urban addresses or P.O. boxes.

Preparation
Once ordered, your test kit will be couriered to your chosen address. Follow the enclosed instructions to collect your sample and return it using the prepaid courier packaging provided.
What's measured in this test
Faecal haemoglobin (FIT)
Measures trace amounts of haemoglobin (blood) in your stool that cannot usually be seen.
