Onsite Urine Drug Screen (collection centre only)

The Onsite Urine Drug Screen is a preliminary test that detects the presence of commonly used illicit drugs. It serves as an initial screening tool, and any positive results must be confirmed with additional testing. Testing includes cannabis (THC-COOH), amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine metabolite, opiates and benzodiazepines.

  • Please note this service is only available at the following Collection Centres
  • Auckland/Northland: Kerikeri, Mairangi Bay, Manurewa, Mount Eden, Mount Wellington, Waiuku, Warkworth, Whangarei (Rust Avenue).
  • Rest of North Island: Hamilton, Taranaki Bell Block, Wellington (The Terrace, Lower Hutt Raroa Road, Lincoln Road, Porirua, Paraparaumu), Napier, Hastings (Maraekakaho Rd).
  • South Island: Invercargill (must book appointment via 03 214 6980), Blenheim (Wairau Hospital), Nelson (Collingwood St), Motueka, Dunedin (Filleul Street - must book appointment via 03 470 2919), Oamaru, Christchurch (Northfield - must book appointment via 03 359 0900).

Please note that this test requires you are ready and able to produce a urine sample at the collection centre. If your order contains both urine and blood tests, you will need to provide your urine sample before your blood samples can be collected. If you are unable to provide the associated urine sample, we will not be able to collect your blood samples.
